Dr. Christen A. Carson

Christen A. Carson, PhD, ABPP, is a clinical and forensic psychologist specializing in civil and criminal forensic evaluations. Based in Seattle, Washington, she maintains a national practice. Dr. Carson serves on the faculty of the American Academy of Forensic Psychology and is the current President of the American Board of Couple and Family Psychology. She is also a past president of the Washington State Psychological Association. Dr. Carson has served as a Clinical Case Consultant at Harvard Law School and is a consultant to the Center for Law, Brain, and Behavior at Mass General/Harvard Medical School. She presents nationally on juvenile and emerging adult brain development, emphasizing its implications for legal decision-making and sentencing practices.
